One night in London

It is a significant design by God that human beings can close their eyes and mouths but not their ears.

If you live in a modern city, this might be a curse for you if you cannot shut all the noises out. But during the night of London, you never actually want to close your ears, because you need them to take in the sounds of the city.

The night of London is dominated by music. Hundreds of gigs, parties and live shows have turned it into a city that never sleeps.

Pubs, clubs, stadiums and theatres in different boroughs across the city offer various kinds of music from Classic to Jazz and Folk to Rock. You can always find what you like and have fun.

Tonight, the American progressive metal band Dream Theater is among those musicians and performers who try to play with the magic of music. Down in Wembley Arena, thousands of fans are indulging in waves of riffs and beats.

Making a comeback

Twenty-seven years have passed since the band was founded in 1985 and they have gone through decades of ups and downs. Now they are here again, with their new album and new drummer, bringing the fans another visual and auditory feast.

The crowd is a mix of characters ranging from older head bangers to devil-horn-saluting teenagers. For the mature members of the audience, the music has been a part of their lives. The familiar songs that they are singing along to might bring up the memories of their younger years.

It’s never only about music; it is rather about the emotions, feelings and memories that are dissolved within it.

A musical night in London enables the city to embrace its listeners. The tender night accompanied by the wild music is exciting as well as a comfort for the soul.
